Raphael Tuck and Sons were one of the most successful
postcard publishers. The company began in Germany in
the 1860s, later moving to London. They produced
lithographs, Christmas cards, and millions and
millions
of postcards. Not all Tuck cards are valuable, but their
backs are all instantly recognizable. Click on the whole
postcard at left to get an idea of how it's all laid out.
