Emil Meyer LUCK SYMBOLS SERIES

This series has a lot in common with other
fill-in-the-blank Leap Year proposals. The
swastikas around the border were a traditional
symbol of good luck, as are the four-leafed
clovers. These cards date from 1908.
Dear________
It's Leap Year now,
And to maids like thee,
it spells the word:
Op-por-tu-ni-ty.

    Your friend, forever,
            Itsa Fact

Dear________
That you are a bashful boy
Is easily seen at a glance.
If I would marry you,
(Which I am willing to)
Could I wear the pants?

    Lovingly,
      Yuno

Dear ___________

If you guess who sent you this
And want to make a killin',
Ask her to be
Your affinity ---
Maybe she is willin'

    Yours truly,
          She.
