These
cards date from 1908 and the code "[K] Semi-photo"
appears
on the back.
They are not real photo cards. They all have a glossy, varnish-like
coating which has yellowed as it aged. Cards have a number in the
lower left corner of the front.
The writing on one of these cards reads: "This is probably the
last
Leap Year card you will get till 1912. Thought I would send
it or it
would get old."
I would appreciate any information on these cards.
Stylistically, these cards are very similar to a
series by Roth
& Langley.
