Leap Year Mottoes series

Some of the postcards in the Leap Year Mottoes series can be recognized by the distinctive quill-pen logo
on the backs. They are cheaply typeset in black and white with colored dingbats as borders and space fillers.
They are often printed crookedly.

Aurburn was apparently enamored of this quick & easy way to publish leap year postcards, since they did
at least five variant series of motto postcards. One has bars of color across the top and bottom, one has a
narrow border on all four sides, one has a wooden border, one has no border, and one has a bark and pine
bough border.

THIS IS LEAP YEAR: -
Don't you know, that you have been too awfully slow?
You've had three years to choose a mate,
Now I fear it is too late.
You'll drink to the dregs a bitter cup,
For some old maid will snap you up.
