After Leap Year Series

Although Nuhn attributes this series to Nash, the background marks it clearly as
by Winsch. They were published in 1909 or before and perhaps reissued in 1912.
Most images are of bachelors celebrating their escape, but a few feature hapless
Leap Year victims. There are at least 7 cards in this series.

In bubble on left:
"Where did you get that
fine specimen, Lizzie?"
And 'Lizzie' replies:
"Oh I caught him in 190(2). At
first he was real vicious and
homesick, but I've tamed him
so now that he eats right out
of my hand."

The year should be 1908, but
someone has erased the 8 and
replaced it with a 2.
